Technique: Hand-drawn animation on textured paper. Size: Widescreen. Amount: several short animations. Time: one animation has a maximum of 8 seconds. Color: all will be in black and white(black pencil) with some red. Product: One short movie, that consists of several smaller ones.

Title explanation:
Being a western person living in the formal eastblock of europe.
This makes a lot of cultural differences visible. Some of them are so completely opposite that a culture shock is generated.

Concept
A short movie to show to none easternized newcomers in poland.
This movie explains the global cultural differences and problems to can be met.
The perspective will be dutch(west) to east(poland), shown by one main character sometimes with extra characters. All differences of culture are shown in a humorous way. A laughter makes you remember things. In this way the movie can also be shown to polish people to laugh about themselves. Some differences will made more extreme to have more fun about them.

Goal
To learn newcomers what differences they will encounter. To laugh. To show the polish people how western people see their culture
